Skin Cancer Treatment Overview

We offer both surgical and non-surgical removal. We can perform infra-red laser mapping of basal cell cancers (BCC) before any treatment is undertaken*. This is known as "OCT" imaging. The imaging can also confirm diagnosis of skin cancer and can determine whether non-surgical treatment is suitable.

We offer enhanced types of photodynamic treatment (PDT) including the biphasic method to remove skin cancers.

Having these innovations means we can non-invasively remove BCCs up to 1mm thickness with precision and with verification of clearance. Click here for more information on PDT.

If you have received a skin cancer diagnosis and are interested in alternatives to surgery, you will benefit from the information provided here. Non-surgical and less-invasive treatments are often the best choice for small non-melanoma skin cancers; however, these options are sometimes overlooked.

To inquire further, you can submit a photo via the image upload field in our 'Contact Us' button and we will promptly get back to you. Please also send the pathology report if you have it. There is no committment.

* please note that OCT imaging requires a booked appointment with Dr Stephens.
